Police lay charges after Taggerty armed robbery

Investigators from Counter Terrorism Command arrested two men and executed search warrants in Eildon Parade, Rowville this morning.

The investigation follows an alleged armed robbery which occurred in Taggerty on Saturday 8 May.

A 28-year-old man from Rowville has been charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft, criminal damage, affray with face covering, affray, assault with weapon, violent disorder, common law assault and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 2 August.

A 22-year-old Rowville man was released pending further enquiries.
