Police have charged a 29-year-old Hillside man following an alleged theft of motor vehicle and theft of copper in Prahran yesterday.
The man has been charged with theft, theft of motor vehicle, contravene conduct of bail, commit indictable offence whilst on bail, burglary and driving whilst disqualified.
He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates' Court yesterday where he was further remanded to appear on 9 June.
The charges related to an incident that occurred at a worksite on High Street in Prahran about 3am.
Police had responded to calls of a noise complaint after a member of the public called triple zero (000) regarding an angle grinder being used.
Police located an allegedly stolen tip truck, believed to have been stolen from an address in Armadale on Tuesday night.
