Police lay charges - Aggravated robbery at Eaton

Northern Territory Police have charged two youths with aggravated burglary following an assault at a service station in Eaton yesterday.

At 4am, police received reports that 5 youths allegedly stole a vehicle after threatening and assaulting a man at a service station on Osgood Drive. One of the youths was allegedly carrying a machete during the assault and the victim sustained minor injuries.

The two youths, aged 13 and 14, were each charged with aggravated robbery, use vehicle without consent and theft. They were bailed to appear in court on 24 July 2023.

Investigations remain ongoing to identify the remaining offenders. Serious Crime Squad are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or suspicious behaviour in the area to contact police on 131 444.
