Midland Detectives have charged a 35-year-old woman in relation to an incident that occurred at a supermarket in Ellenbrook on Tuesday 16 August 2022.
About 12:55pm, it will be alleged the woman, who was armed with a knife, attended the supermarket and stabbed an employee.
The woman then left the scene and was arrested a short time later at her home address.
The employee, a 44-year-old woman, received serious injuries and was conveyed by SJA to Royal Perth Hospital.
The 35-year-old woman from Bullsbrook has been charged with one count of attempted unlawfully to kill.
She will appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on Wednesday 17 August 2022.
