Police lay charges over property offences - Greater Darwin Region 1 November

Northern Territory Police have charged two youths in relation to property offences around Darwin last week.

The pair, aged 15 and 14, were arrested on Friday 29 October for their alleged involvement in numerous property offences. The incidents took place between 28 and 29 October 2021, in Marrara, Nakara and Woolner.

Strike Force Trident detectives have charged the 14-year-old with:

  • 1 x Unlawful entry - dwelling
  • 1 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 2 x Damage to property
  • 2 x Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • 1 x Stealing
  • 1 x Serious breach of bail

The 15-year-old has been charged with:

  • 4 x Unlawful entry - dwelling
  • 1 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 5 x Damage to property
  • 3 x Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • 4 x Stealing
  • 2 x Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed
  • 1 x Serious breach of bail

Both youths were remanded to appear in court today.
