Police have charged a man with murder following the sudden deaths of two people in Mitchelton yesterday, August 29.
Emergency services were called to the Kentville Street property at 8.50am and located two people unresponsive.
A 61-year-old Keperra man and a 35-year-old Mitchelton woman were declared deceased at the scene.
A third person, a 41-year-old Greenslopes man, was taken into police custody at the scene.
It will be alleged the man failed to contact emergency services.
The man was allegedly known to the pair.
Following extensive investigations, police subsequently charged the man with two counts of murder (reckless indifference), and two counts each of supply dangerous drugs and possess dangerous drugs.
He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court today, August 30.
