A man reported missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches has been located safe and well.
The 78-year-old man was reported missing after he was last seen about 6am today (Tuesday 3 January 2023), in Ocean Street, Narrabeen.
When he could not be located, he was reported missing to officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a public appeal, the man was located safe and well in Woolloomooloo about 8pm today.
Police wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
