Police Make Arrest After Ferrari And Firearms Found

A man will face court today after he was arrested during a search of a Grange property yesterday.

Serious and Organised Crime detectives attended a Grange address on Tuesday 30 July as part of an investigation into the theft of a Ferrari and other vehicles from a northern suburbs warehouse earlier this month.

It will be alleged officers recovered the stolen red 1986 Ferrari Mondial at the property.

Detectives also seized a number of firearms from the address, including a gel blaster handgun, a homemade firearm and three other firearms allegedly stolen from a break-in in the Adelaide Hills last month.

A 51-year-old Grange man was arrested and charged with five counts of possess firearm. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Investigations into the theft of the stolen Ferrari are ongoing.
