Police have arrested a man following an alleged fatal stabbing in Kangaroo Flat on Saturday.
It is believed an altercation allegedly took place between two men at accommodation on High Street about 10.30pm.
Sadly, one of the men died at the scene.
A 25-year-old Kangaroo Flat man was arrested nearby and is assisting police with their enquiries.
It is believed the parties were known to each other.
Homicide Squad are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
