Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a pedestrian death in Wedderburn last year.
The death occurred when a 63-year-old Wedderburn man and his guide dog were struck by a car as they walked along the Calder Highway on the morning of 2 June 2019.
A 22-year-old Bridgewater man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, destruction of evidence, pervert the course of justice and threats to kill.
He has been remanded to appear at the Shepparton Magistrates' Court on 1 June.
