Police Make Arrest - Aggravated Robbery - Palmerston 21 August

Northern Territory Police have arrested a youth in relation to an aggravated robbery in Woodroffe this morning.

At around 7.30am, police received reports that a child had been threatened with a pair of scissors and had his bicycle stolen by an unknown male. A further report identified that another child had been approached in a similar manner in the same area moments prior but had fled to safety.

Investigations and examinations of CCTV resulted in a 17-year-old male youth being arrested at a residence in the Northern Suburbs at around 11.25am.

He remains in police custody and is expected to be charged later today.
