Police Make Arrest - Aggravated Robbery In Darwin 2 September

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated robbery occurred in Darwin City on Saturday morning.

Around 6am, police received reports of an unknown adult male entering a fast-food restaurant on Smith Street and allegedly threatening an employee with an edged weapon before fleeing the scene.

Police have since located and arrested a 30-year-old male who is expected to be charged later today.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or has information regarding this incident to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
