Police Make Arrest - Domestic Violence At Tennant Creek 4 February

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 39-year-old male in relation a domestic violence incident that occurred in Tennant Creek yesterday evening.

Around 8.20pm, police received reports of an aggravated assault at a residence in Tennant Creek. The male offender had allegedly assaulted his female partner, causing injuries to her head. The victim acted in self-defence and the offender sustained an injury to his ear.

Both were conveyed to hospital for treatment, where police arrested the 39-year-old male.

Investigations are ongoing and police urge anyone with information to call 131 444 and quote reference P25034156. Anonymous reports can also be made through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
