Police Make Arrest - Domestic Violence In Alice Springs 25 January

The Northern Territory Police Force has responded to a domestic violence incident that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday.

At 8.15am, police responded to reports of a domestic incident at a residence in Gillen. An altercation had allegedly occurred between a 22-year-old female and her male partner, during which she allegedly threw a plate on the floor, with debris striking a nearby child.

The child was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment for a laceration.

The 22-year-old was arrested, and investigations are ongoing.
