Police Make Arrest - Domestic Violence In Alice Springs 3 March

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 32-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.

Around 3:50am, police received reports of a disturbance at a residence in Sadadeen. Upon arrival, police located a female victim who had allegedly been stabbed by her male partner.

She was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries to her upper body.

The 32-year-old male offender was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with Aggravated Assault and Engage in conduct that contravenes domestic violence order.

Investigations are ongoing and police urge anyone with information to call 131 444 and quote reference P25059816. Anonymous reports can also be made through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
