Northern Territory Police have arrested 2 men after they escaped NT Corrections Custody yesterday afternoon.
Around 1:20pm, two handcuffed male prisoners were being escorted back to the Watch House from the Alice Springs Court House by correctional staff when they broke free and ran towards bath street.
Police immediately deployed and arrested the men within 4 minutes at a location on railway Terrace.
Both have since been transferred back into Correctional Custody and are expected to be charged later today.
