Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to an alleged sexual assault in Moulden last night.
Around 8pm, a man allegedly followed a woman whilst she was walking near Moulden oval. The male allegedly forced the woman to the ground and sexually assaulted her. The woman struggled with the male, resulting in him fleeing the location. Members of the public came to her aid and contacted police.
Earlier this morning, detectives from the Sex Crimes Unit arrested a 27-year-old man in relation to the incident. At this stage it is believed the offender was not known to the victim.
Investigations remain ongoing.
