Police Make Arrest - Suspicious Behaviour - Malak

Northern Territory Police have charged a man with child abuse related suspicious behaviour in Malak last week.

Detectives from the Child Abuse Taskforce arrested a 28-year-old man yesterday and have since charged him with:

  • 1 x Engaging in Conduct to Procure Sexual Activity - child under 16 years

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Sarah Firth said " Police would again like to commend the child for immediately running to a known adult, who contacted police and allowed us to begin investigations quickly."
