Northern Territory Police have arrested 4 youths after an aggravated robbery and attempted ram raid in Darwin overnight.
Around 8:40pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that 3 male youths had threatened a man with a knife at a residence on Gsell Street, Wanguri, before stealing his vehicle.
At 12:30am, police received another report that the same vehicle was being used in an attempted ram raid at a service station in Fannie Bay.
Multiple police units converged on the location, with the vehicle fleeing on the Stuart Highway towards Palmerston. Tyre Deflation Devices were successfully deployed in Winnellie and 4 youth, aged between 11 and 14, were apprehended without incident from the stolen vehicle.
Three youths, aged 13, 14, and 14, remain in custody pending further investigations and charges are expected later today.
An 11-year-old was conveyed into the care of a responsible adult and a referral made to Territory Families.
