Police Make Arrests - Stolen Motor Vehicle - Nightcliff

Northern Territory Police have arrested four youths and one adult in relation to a stolen motor vehicle overnight.

Around 11:50pm, police were notified of a stolen Toyota Troop Carrier from Casuarina Drive, Nightcliff.

A short time later, Strike Force Trident and Dog Operations Unit initiated a pursuit of the vehicle before a Tyre Deflation Device was successfully deployed.

The vehicle came to a stop along the Stuart Highway, Humpty Doo.

Four youths, one aged 14, two aged 15, and one aged 17, as well as one 18-year-old adult, were arrested at the scene.

Charges are expected to follow.

Police continue to urge anyone who witnesses a crime or anti-social behaviour to make contact on 131 444.
