Police Make Drug Arrest At Huntfield Heights

A Huntfield Heights man will face court today charged with drug trafficking.

Southern District CIB detectives, with the assistance of STAR Group officers and Police Dog Xero, searched a Huntfield Heights property yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 12 March.

It will be alleged officers uncovered approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine, 100ml 1-4, Butanediol, a taser, OC spray, ammunition, prescription medication and $5000 in cash.

Two men at the property were arrested.

A 49-year-old Huntfield Heights man was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled drug, weapons offences and possess prescription drugs.

A 32-year-old Noarlunga Downs man was arrested over an outstanding warrant and breach of bail.

Both men were refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later today, Thursday 13 March.
