Police Make Drug Arrests At Seacombe Gardens

A woman has also been charged following a drug investigation at Seacombe Gardens this week.

Southern District Detectives, along with Dog Operations Unit, attended and searched a Seacombe Gardens address on Monday 8 July.

It will be alleged officers located a commercial quantity of LSD, ecstasy, cannabis and prescription medication.

A 21-year-old man from the address was arrested and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug, four counts of trafficking a controlled drug and five counts of possessing prescription medication.

The man did not apply for bail and appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court yesterday, Tuesday 9 July.

Following further investigations, a 19-year-old Seacombe Gardens woman was arrested last night and also charged with drug trafficking. She was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
