A police officer has been charged with assault following an incident in Sydney's north west earlier this year.
Following an internal investigation into an incident on Luxford Road, Lethbridge Park, on Thursday 29 February 2024, a male constable, attached to North West Metropolitan Region, has been served a court attendance notice today (Tuesday 18 June 2024), charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 25-year-old will appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Thursday 1 August 2024.
His employment status is under review.
