A police officer has been charged with assault following two incidents which occurred whilst on duty last year.
The first incident is alleged to have occurred at Castle Hill on Tuesday 18 July 2023, with the second occurring at Baulkham Hills on Saturday 9 November 2023.
Following an internal investigation into the incidents, a Future Court Attendance Notice was served on the 42-year-old male senior constable's legal representative for two counts of common assault today (Wednesday 3 July 2024).
He is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 28 August 2024.
The officer's employment status is currently under review.
