A 27-year-old male Constable from the Northern Region has been charged in relation to allegedly possessing child exploitation material.
It will be alleged that the material was obtained whilst off duty.
The member has been charged with one count of use carriage service to access child abuse material.
They have been suspended from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on 18 February 2025.
