An off-duty police officer was detected allegedly drink driving at Melbourne Airport on Sunday afternoon.
The male detective leading senior constable from the north-west metro region was intercepted at an alcohol and drug testing site about 3.45pm on 11 June.
He tested positive to a preliminary breath test before undergoing an evidentiary test, where he returned an alleged reading of .107.
The 55-year-old's vehicle has been impounded with towing costs of $896.
He is expected to be summonsed to court for drink driving-related offences.
