Police officer stood down, Crime and Intelligence Command

A male senior constable from Crime and Intelligence Command has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service.

The officer is the subject of an investigation relating to drink driving whilst off duty.

He has been charged with low range drink driving and is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on June 15.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
