Police Probe After Two Boys Found Dead in Faulconbridge

A crime scene has been established at a home in Faulconbridge after two children were found deceased a short time ago.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were called to the home in Chapman Parade shortly before 12.40pm (Tuesday 10 September 2024), due to concerns for the welfare of a woman and two children.

The bodies of two boys, aged nine and 11, were found inside the home by a family member.

A 42-year-old woman is currently enroute to Westmead Hospital under police guard in a stable condition.

There is no ongoing threat to the community. Police are not looking for anyone else.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command are now investigating the circumstances of the deaths, assisted by detectives from State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
