Police Probe Armed Robbery at Shepparton Store

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery in Shepparton last week.

It is believed an unknown man attended a store on St Georges Road about 9am on Sunday, 8 December.

Once inside, the offender threatened a 14-year-old female attendant with a knife and demanded cash.

The offender also threatened the 46-year-old store owner with a knife and chased him out of the store.

No one was injured and the thief fled the scene, last spotted heading along Swallow Street.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall and in his late teens.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black cap, bandana, and black pants and wearing a distinctive "LA Lakers" backpack with a string strap.
