Police Probe Armed Robbery in North Rockhampton

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with investigations following an armed robbery at Rockhampton North last night, August 30.

Initial investigations indicate just before 8.30pm, a man, armed with a piece of wood, entered a fast-food restaurant on Musgrave Street and threatened staff, demanding money from the till.

Staff complied, and no one was physically injured.

The man left the scene on foot a short time later with a quantity of cash.

Detectives from the Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing to anyone who recognises the man, pictured, to immediately contact police.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly anyone with relevant vision, is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
