Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a motorcycle rider died following a collision in Blind Bight yesterday.
Police have been told the rider was traveling on Baxter-Tooradin Road, near the intersection of Warneet Road, when he was struck by another vehicle about 6.20pm.
The male rider, believed to be aged in his 40s, died at the scene.
The female driver of the car, who was not injured, was arrested at the scene.
She has since been released pending further enquiries.
