Police Probe Fatal Molong Car Crash

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West region overnight.

About 11.50pm (Friday 11 October 2024) emergency services were called to Queen Street, Molong, after reports of a single vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Central West Police District attended, along with the Rural Fire Service and NSW Ambulance paramedics and found a vehicle had left the roadway and rolled.

The driver, a 62-year-old man, died at the scene.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
