Police probe fatal trail bike crash in Taralga

Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash on a private property in the state’s Southern Tablelands yesterday afternoon, NSW Police say.

About 1.45pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Old Station Creek Road, about 20km north of Taralga, following reports of a crash.

Upon arrival, police were told an 18-year-old man from Bringelly had fallen from his trail bike and landed on a nearby embankment at the property.

The man was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics who performed CPR; however, he died at the scene.

Officers attached to The Hume Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by forensic specialists.

Inquiries into the matter are continuing and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
