Police Probe Firearms Incident in Herdsmans Cove

Police are calling for information from the community as they continue to investigate an incident on Calvert Crescent at Herdsmans Cove around 5pm on Saturday (18 January) where a man received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

At this stage in the investigation, police believe the incident was targeted, and between people who are known to each-other.

The injured man, aged in his 30s, was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Anyone who has witness information, or CCTV or dash camera footage of the area around the time, is asked to come forward.
