Police Probe Sudden Death In Kurrimine Beach

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the sudden death of a 49-year-old Warren Park man at Kurrimine Beach.

The man was reported missing yesterday at 2:30pm, after he failed to return from a fishing trip.

Initial investigations indicate the man departed Kurrimine Beach boat ramp before his vessel broke down.

A search and rescue operation commenced early this morning, after his vessel was located approximately 8km north of the boat ramp.

The man was located deceased on the beach a short distance away.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious.
