Police Probe Sudden Death In Mighell

Detectives from the Innisfail Child Protection and Investigation Unit are investigating the sudden death of a three-week-old girl on Saturday, May 11.

Emergency services were called to a property on Jones Street around 9:30am and found the child unresponsive.

The child was taken to Innisfail Hospital where she was later declared deceased.

An investigation has commenced, and detectives will work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
