Police Probe Welfare Concern in Blue Mountains

Police are appealing for information to locate a man in the Blue Mountains.

About 6:20am yesterday (29 November 2024), police were called to Yellow Rock, following a concern for welfare.

Officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command attended were told an unknown man who appeared confused and in state of undress, had wandered into several properties on Paterson Road, Yellow Rock and Purvines Road, Yellow Rock, before walking into nearby bushland.

No one was injured during the incidents.

No missing persons reports have been received by police.

Officers, with the assistance of Polair and the Dog Squad have conducted a search of the area.

As inquiries continue, police urge anyone able to identify the man to come forward.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, solid build, with a short shaved head/bald head, and tattoos on his right arm, chest and shoulders.
