Police are re-appealing to the community for further information as inquiries expand to include points of international departure to locate a man wanted for breaching his bail.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Mark Horne – aged 32 – for breach of bail.
Mark was last known to have been on Coorabin Place, Riverwood, about 6.15am on Friday (21 October 2022), where it's believed he entered an unknown vehicle which was last seen heading westbound on the M5 Motorway.
Detectives from the Criminal Groups Squad, assisted by interstate and Commonwealth law enforcement partners, are conducting extensive searches and inquiries at airports and ports, as well as other transportation routes across NSW and Australia.
Their inquiries suggest Mark may be attempting to travel to Queensland to flee to Southeast Asia – and most likely by sea.
It would be expected he may be receiving assistance from associates to avoid detection. Police remind those who are involved in this type of activity that it is a criminal offence, and they will be charged.
Mark is described as being about 185cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.
He has distinctive tattoos covering both arms and his right leg, as well as faded tattoos on his neck and chin.
Anyone who sights Mark, or who has information about his whereabouts, is urged not to approach him, and to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
Anyone with information about Mark's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
