Police re-appeal to locate missing man at Lake Macquarie 14 November

Police have released new images and are re-appealing for public assistance for an elderly man missing from the Lake Macquarie area.

John Davidson, aged 72, was last seen at a home on Tennent Road, Mount Hutton, about 10.15am last Monday (7 November 2022).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

A multi-agency search of Mount Hutton, Charlestown, Gateshead and surrounding areas has not located John.

John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with medium build and grey hair. He may be wearing jeans and white joggers.

Police would like anyone who was on the Fernleigh Track, Belmont, on Monday 7 November 2022 from 12pm onwards and believes they may have seen John to contact police.

Residents in the Belmont and Belmont South areas, in particular those around Gen, Ernest and Alick Street, and Railway Parade, who may have CCTV, are also urged to contact police.
