Police Reissue Appeal in Fairfield Heights Hit-Run

Police are renewing their appeal for information after a man was hit by a car in Sydney's south west last month.

About 8.10pm on Wednesday 2 October 2024, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were called to Station Street, Fairfield Heights, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by vehicle.

A 39-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

Earlier this month police released CCTV of a vehicle they believe was being driven in the incident.

The vehicle was seen travelling on Station Street, Fairfield Heights, before turning left on Marlborough Street and travelling towards Polding Street.

The vehicle is described as being a silver-coloured sedan. Police believe the vehicle has a broken headlight and damage to the bonnet and windscreen.
