Police are renewing their call for public information regarding a fire at the Peacock Centre in Mount Stuart last week.
"As part of the ongoing investigation into the deliberately lit fire at the Peacock Centre Friday night, police would like to speak to anyone with information," said Detective A/Inspector Adams.
The fire started around 8.30pm and caused significant damage to the building on Elphinstone Road.
"If anyone has information in relation to the fire or suspicious activity in the area around the time, police urge them to come forward," said Detective A/Inspector Adams.
"We're also asking for businesses or residents in the area to check their CCTV around the time of the fire and forward onto police for investigation."
Two potential suspects are described as:
• Man one: 19 - 20 years old, wearing a black hooded jumper and dark pants, slim build and around 172cm.
• Man two: 19 – 20 years old, wearing a white jumper, dark pants, blonde hair, slim build and around 172cm.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are also seeking information in relation to a small vegetation fire which was extinguished by Tasmania Fire Service in the vicinity of Argyle Street and Burnett Street shortly before the Peacock Centre fire.
