Police Respond to Major Moreton Bay Traffic Crash

The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is appealing for information after a 44-year-old man was critically injured in a single-vehicle traffic crash in Moreton Bay overnight, August 12.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 11.40pm, police were called to reports a white Mitsubishi Triton was travelling north along Dayboro Road in Rush Creek when it left the road and crashed.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 44-year-old man, was transported to Redcliffe Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.

FCU investigations are ongoing.
