Two drivers have been taken to hospital following a five-vehicle crash in Sydney's north.
About 6.05pm today (Thursday 25 July 2024), emergency services were called to the M1 Motorway, Berowra, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Ku-Ring-Gai Police Area Command found that five vehicles were involved.
The male driver of a blue sedan has been airlifted to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The female driver of a black sedan was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Both drivers will undergo mandatory testing.
The occupants of the other vehicles were assessed by paramedics at the scene and did not require further treatment.
Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
