Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Tiaro

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash at Tiaro last night, July 16.

Emergency services were called just after 7.30pm to reports of a collision between a motorbike and a truck travelling north along the Bruce Highway at Tiaro, south of Maryborough.

Upon arrival, the motorbike rider, a 57-year-old Goodwood man, was located with life-threatening injuries.

Despite attempts to revive the motorbike rider, he was declared deceased at the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or may have relevant dashcam footage, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
