A man has died following a motorcycle crash in the Riverina.
Emergency services were called to Twigg Road, Yenda, about 18km north-east of Griffith, about 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 2 September 2024), following reports of a motorcycle had collided with an eastbound freight train.
The rider, a 21-year-old man, died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District established a crime scene, with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident ongoing.
