Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Mount Alford

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in Mount Alford on Saturday, August 31.

Emergency services were called just after 11am to reports of a collision between a Yamaha FJR1300 motorbike and a Mazda BT-50 dual-cab ute travelling along Dwyer Ridges Road at Mount Alford.

Upon arrival, the motorbike rider, a 69-year-old Stockyard man, was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver, a 68-year-old Mount Alford woman, was not injured.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or may have relevant dashcam footage, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
