Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Oxley

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in the state's north west.

Shortly after 12:30pm today (Friday 1 November 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving several motorcycles on Nowendoc Road, Niangala, near the intersection of Koolkuna Road.

A male motorcycle rider died at the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services. He is yet to be formally identified.

Four other motorcyclists have been injured and are being treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The incident will be investigated by specialist police from Oxley Police District and the Crash Investigation Unit.

Traffic diversions are currently in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
