Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Prospect

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Sydney's west.

About 5:15pm today (Thursday 20 March 2025), emergency services were called to the M4 Motorway, Prospect following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were told a motorcycle collided with a ute travelling in the same direction.

The rider – a man believed to be in his 20's – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he could not be revived. He is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the ute – a man aged 27 – was uninjured and is assisting police with inquiries

A crime scene has been established and the motorcycle was seized to be forensically examined.
