Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Wollombi

A man has died following a multi vehicle crash in the states Hunter region today.

About 10.40am (Sunday 6 April 2025), emergency services were called to Great North Road, Wollombi, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District arrived to find three motorcycles had collided.

One rider – a man aged in his 40's– was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.

The two other riders – two men aged 39 and 36 – were treated for leg and chest injuries before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in stable conditions.

Police have established a crime scene, and an investigation has commenced into the cause of the crash.

Investigations are ongoing.
