Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a single vehicle crash at Ninderry last night.
Preliminary inquires indicate around 7pm the motorbike was headed north on Collins Road when the rider has failed to negotiate a bend and the bike left the road and hit a tree trunk.
The rider, a 39-year-old Yandina man, died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
